Building the Recovery – Information Sessions for the Construction Industry

As part of the Keep Australia Working initiative, the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations is hosting an information session for the construction industry.

In conjunction with state and local government, industry associations and private enterprise, the information session will outline:

• what opportunities and major projects exist in the area, in both the public and private sector
• how local businesses and tradespeople can access these opportunities and projects and tender for Government business
• what services and programs exist to support and assist local business.

The session will provide you with details on government funded and private sector construction projects in the Lower Hunter area and how to get involved.

The session will be held in Cardiff on 15 February from 2.00pm to 5.00pm.
